Like you the team behind Mygeto love the internet and we spend alot of time travelling its expanding byways.
The problem we found was that it was becoming a time consuming process to visit our favourite websites, search the net and to play with all the great content the net has to offer without finding it all one by one within our expanding list of saved bookmarks.
So we created Mygetgo - fully customisable home or start pages where YOU decide on the content, and the look. You can add your favourite website links and customise how the page looks allowing you to easily get the best start into the internet.

All you have to do is sign-up, choose a look that suits your personality then your ready to add your fav links and content. If you use a search engine like Google then add one of these - there are many to choose from. If you get bored with anything within your page then at the click of a button - you can change you mind - after all it’s your Mygetgo - you choose!
Links - Mygetgo lets you create as many link panels as you need. Maybe one for work and one for play. We even have sexy buttons that can be used for your links if you want to add some 'style' to your Mygetgo page.
Once you have all your links and content within a theme that suits you. You can move the content around your page just by dragging the header bar - a little like Feng Shui for the internet - you choose where the content best suits your needs!
Mygetgo is not controlled by a big media company which means we can use any of the internets free content side by side so if you want Yahoo news feeds right next to a Google search panel then you can. Or if you want to have two search engines in your page like Google and MSN you can. The choice is all yours - so go create!
Mygeto is currently in beta mode. This means we are testing and expanding it to try to give you exactly what you want and need. This also means we need to hear from you on what you want to see included in Mygeto as content, themes or ideas - please share anything with us either by emailing us direct or through the community boards here.
Currently we have these content modules:
- Notepad - never forget a birthday again :)
- Bookmarks - add as many fav bookmarks as you want - have your internet just one click away!
- Button bookmarks - create and use funky buttons as your links to the net!
- Photo album/ecards - upload our images, have them as a slideshow or send them as e-cards
- News - Latest news & gossip feeds
- Ads - sorry but there is a small mandatory Google ad panel (well for you to have Mygetgo for FREE we have to try to make money somehow).
Coming soon in the next Mygetgo update are we expect even more content modules like:
- Games - more games than you can shake a stick at!
- Weather - from wherever you are in the world the latest weather in your page.
- Flikr - the most interesting images from Flikr as a slideshow
- Extra pages - You can design and create extra pages
- Files storage - upload, share and store your files
- Themes designer - the ability for YOU to design and upload your own Mygetgo themes.
- Mygetgo toolbar - so wherever you are on the net one click will save the website you are on to your Mygetgo bookmarks as a fav link.
